Everything on this page is one town
The Malaysia vacation packages on this page each sit in a single town, and the office moves nobody between towns during them. You arrive, you unpack once, and every day out returns to the same room at night. That holds for all twelve, from George Town at the top of the west coast to Kota Bharu on the other side of the mountains.
Two nights is the shortest we will write and five the longest. The figure beside each town is per person, with two of you in one room, and it covers beds, movement by road or rail inside the peninsula, and whatever guiding that particular town asks for. Nothing airborne sits inside it. Nothing is held in your name until you have confirmed in writing.
How each tile is put together
Every tile carries a town, a night count, a figure and a single digit between one and four. That digit says how much of the stay runs to a clock you did not set. A one means nothing does, and you decide each morning what the day looks like. A four means the whole shape of it hangs on departures that leave whether you are ready or not.
The east coast entries, Kota Bharu and Kuala Terengganu, shut from November into February while the monsoon blows in off the northeast, and the inland route to them thins out at the same time. We print that on the tile rather than waiting to be asked, since a closed town in December is not a matter of taste. West coast towns run through the year.

Where the office stops
Sabah and Sarawak are not on this page and will not be. They sit across the South China Sea, reaching them means flying, and the office arranges nothing that leaves the ground. The same reasoning removes Langkawi, the Perhentians and Tioman: a boat is a departure somebody else controls, and we would be selling you a crossing we cannot answer for.
Plenty of the peninsula is missing too. Johor Bahru, Kuantan, Alor Setar, Kuala Kubu Bharu and a dozen more are real towns with real reasons to go, and none of them appear here. The twelve are simply the ones the office already has standing arrangements in, with rooms it can hold and drivers it can name. A thirteenth would mean writing about somewhere on trust.
If the town you want is missing
Ask anyway. Put the town in the subject line and write to the office, or call during working hours in Seattle, and you will get a straight answer rather than a holding note. Sometimes that answer is that we can assemble the stay and send a figure inside a week. Sometimes it is no, with the reason set out in plain words, and no second attempt to sell you something else instead.
What we will not do is stretch one of the twelve to cover a request it does not fit. If you want three nights in Kuantan, the honest reply is that Kuantan is not ours, not that Kuala Terengganu is close enough. Requests that fall outside the peninsula get the same treatment, in a sentence rather than a form letter.
