Every booking starts with a note about a month and ends with a written offer, and nothing in between commits you to anything or moves any money.
Nothing here is reserved until the office has written back and you have agreed to what it wrote, and no reservation is ever paid for on this site.
What to put in the note
Name a month and the form has enough to work with. You can request a trip quote 24/7 through this page, and the note only needs a rough length of stay, how many of you there are, and one sentence about what you would rather not spend the week doing.
What arrives goes to one person at this office, who reads it against the twenty three entries and works out which of them fit the weather and the crowds in the month you named. If none of them fit, that is what comes back, with the months that do work instead. The note is not passed to any operator at this stage.
What comes back, and how soon
The answer is written, not spoken. It names the places, the nights, the road movements between them and one figure for each person, along with whatever the operators will not confirm yet. A note sent through the form gets that reply within one business day. If a trip is already booked and something about it needs checking, the answer comes the same day.
Anything further from those two, a question about a month well ahead or about a road that may or may not reopen, can take a second working day, because the answer often depends on somebody in the peninsula replying first. Nothing in the reply runs out while you read it, and the figures on it hold for the period printed beside them.
What sending it does not start
Sending the note books nothing. No room is set aside in your name, no vehicle is spoken for, and nobody at the other end has been told you are coming. The entry you asked about stays as open to the next person as it was before you wrote, and it stays that way until you read the offer and agree to it in writing.
Nothing is charged either. The form collects no card details and the site handles no money at any point, so writing to this office costs you nothing and commits you to nothing. When a booking does go ahead later, each operator bills you itself, under its own name and its own conditions, and this office is paid by those operators rather than by you.

- Can the form be used on a Sunday?
Yes. It sits on the site every day of the year and takes what you write whenever you write it. The reading and the reply belong to working days, so a note left over a weekend is answered on the first one that follows.
- Must I know my dates before writing?
No. A month is enough, and a pair of months you are choosing between will do just as well. Plenty of notes arrive with nothing firmer than that, and the written answer often comes back suggesting the quieter of the two.
- Is anything owed for the written offer?
Nothing at all. It is prepared at no charge, it puts you under no duty to book, and it can be left unanswered without a word to anybody. A second version with different places in it costs nothing either.
